We have an immediate need for a skilled and detail-oriented Performance Test Engineer to join a premier hospitality organization. The Performance Test Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and executing load tests to ensure the performance, scalability, and reliability of our systems and applications.

This role will sit in our clients Test Engineering Organization. The Test Engineering Organization is the team that evaluates whether the current software product meets the required conditions or not. The testing process involves evaluating the features of the software product for requirements in terms of any missing requirements, bugs or errors, security, reliability, and performance. As a key member of our Test Engineering team, you will be responsible for providing performance insights and identify optimization opportunities to product stakeholders, triage performance bottlenecks, and identify and fix performance issues while working closely with engineering teams.

What you will do:

• Design and develop load test plans, test scripts, and test scenarios based on requirements and specifications.
• Execute load tests and analyze test results to identify performance bottlenecks, capacity issues, and other potential problems.
• Collaborate with development, operations, and QA teams to ensure load testing aligns with project goals and timelines.
• Monitor and analyze system performance metrics during load tests, including response times, throughput, and resource utilization.
• Provide detailed reports and recommendations based on load test findings to improve system performance and scalability.
• Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging tools and technologies related to load testing and performance engineering.
• Collaborate with project teams to understand project architecture and business requirements to devise a performance test strategy and performance test plans.
• Identify production metrics important to performance/load testing efforts; assist with collection methods when feasible.
• Manage performance testing artifacts to ensure proper versioning, backups, organization, and retention.
• Maintains load testing environments.

What gets you the job:

• Bachelor s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field. Preferred.
• At least 6 years of experience executing software load and performance testing in an enterprise environment.
• Proven experience as a Load Test Engineer or similar role in performance testing.
• Proficiency in load testing tools such as JMeter.
• Strong understanding of performance testing methodologies and best practices.
• Familiarity with programming and scripting languages (e.g., Java, Python, or JavaScript).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Experience in Performance Testing using several protocols like Web HTTP/HTML, Web Services, and Database applications, Client/Server- browser-based and Middleware application environments.?
• Hands on AWS services experience such as EC2, RDS, Load balancer, Security Groups, CloudWatch, etc.?
• Experience with monitoring and analyzing system performance metrics.
• Excellent analytical skills for understanding the business requirements, business rules/processes, solutions approach, and detailed design of the application.
