Ironstate Properties is Hiring a Maintenance Technician Full-Time Near Jersey, NJ

Ironstate Properties is a premier full-service commercial real estate developer, owner, and manager of luxury apartments. We are actively looking for a detail-oriented Maintenance Technician to join our team.

This is a full-time position.

Rate: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Conducting routine inspections of premises and equipment. Performing preventative maintenance;
  • Handling basic repairs such as repairing broken locks, filling gaps on walls etc.;
  • Report to a facilities or maintenance manager for issues;
  • Install appliances and equipment;
  • Inspect and troubleshoot equipment and systems (e.g. ventilation);
  • Check functionality of safety systems (e.g. fire alarm); and
  • Collaborate with workers and other professionals during renovations.

Required Skills:

  • Experience using hand and electrical tools
  • Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical and mechanical systems and ability to perform basic repairs on these systems
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
