Ironstate Properties is Hiring a Full-Time Maintenance Technician Near Harrison, NJ

Ironstate Properties is a premier full-service commercial real estate developer, owner, and manager of luxury apartments. We are actively looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Maintenance Technician to join our team.

This is a full-time position.

Rate: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Conducting routine inspections of premises and equipment. Performing preventative maintenance;
  • Handling basic repairs such as repairing broken locks, filling gaps on walls etc.;
  • Reporting to a facilities or maintenance manager for issues;
  • Installing appliances and equipment;
  • Inspecting and troubleshooting equipment and systems (e.g. ventilation);
  • Checking the functionality of safety systems (e.g. fire alarm); and
  • Collaborating with workers and other professionals during renovations.

Required Skills:

  • Proficiency in handling hand and electrical tools
  • Fundamental understanding of plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems, coupled with the ability to execute basic repairs on these systems
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
