Medical Laboratory Technician MLT (ASCP) Opening in Missouri!

Starting at $26.00 - $29.00 / Hour

Night Shift Weekend Package – Guaranteed 40 hours

Join an amazing team as an MLT/MT for a critical access hospital located by Kirksville, Missouri. The staff are dedicated to creating a welcoming and cohesive work environment!

Medical Laboratory Technician Details:

  • Shift: Night Shift / Weekend Package
  • Friday-Sunday Night Shift 3 (12)
  • Saturday – Sunday Day Shift 6 am to 3 pm | Friday-Sunday On Call
  • MLT: $26/hour – Increases based on experience.
  • MT: $29/hour – Increases based on experience.

Medical Laboratory Technician Requirements:

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Medical Laboratory Technician : Completion of an accredited Laboratory certification program receiving a minimum of an AAS degree
  • Medical Technologist: BA in science or biology

Medical Laboratory Technician Job Description:

  • Under the direction of the Laboratory Manager, the Medical Technologist/Medical Laboratory Technician performs a variety of laboratory tests. Tests may be performed in hematology, clinical chemistry, microbiology, blood bank, coagulation, therapeutic drug monitoring, non-syphilis serology, and urinalysis.
  • Sound application of the principles, theories, and techniques of medical technology are used to produce reliable results which aid the physician in the diagnosis and treatment of their patients.
