Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) - Outpatient Facility near North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina

Location: Several locations near North Myrtle Beach area

Setting: Ortho, Surgery, Pulmonology, Neurology, Cardiology, Primary Care Clinics, and more!

Job Type: Full-time positions available

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm

Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) Responsibilities:

• Assist with diagnostic testing and treatments as directed by the healthcare provider
• Obtain and document vital signs and patient history
• Prepare and administer medications as prescribed by the healthcare provider
• Educate patients on health maintenance and preventive care
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a medical assistant program from an accredited institution
• Current certification as a Medical Assistant from an accredited agency such as AAMA, NHA, or AMT
• Minimum of 1-year experience working in a medical office or outpatient facility
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in basic computer skills and electronic medical records
• Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
• BLS certification required
