THE HIGH LEVEL

We are looking for a Senior Network Architect to join our Cloud-Scale Networking team in the Iron Bow CTO office to provide technical leadership and sales support for emerging solutions with a focus on network modernization. Will provide subject matter expertise, leadership, and insight on service provider networking, data center networking, public cloud networking, network automation and emerging solutions supporting Iron Bow sales teams, partner alliances, marketing, and engagement services. Emphasis on architecting and designing advanced infrastructure solutions leveraging Iron Bow intellectual property, partner technologies and service deliveries.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

• Drive, Build and Evangelize networking solutions and capabilities with our partners and customers
• Work closely with customers to consultatively build technology requirements around mission and business objectives
• Lead technology consulting and advisory services engagements (e.g. advisory workshops), both individually and as the lead of a small technical team
• Lead proof-of-concept solution development and prototyping of large programmatic efforts
• Actively research, evaluate and drive service provider, data center and cloud networking technologies and solutions to solve customer needs
• Manage solution development and deployment adhering to modern industry best practices while meeting and exceeding customer expectations
• Author reference architectures, sales collateral, whitepapers and slide presentations
• Develop and author technical proposals, List of Materials, and Level of Efforts (LOEs) for Iron Bow solutions and offerings
• Responsible for enablement and proactive engagement of sales teams
• Develop and maintain relationships with strategic partner community and customer base
• Present and evangelize technology trends, highlighting value to Iron Bow and our customers

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE

• 15 years of Service Provider, Cloud and/or Data Center Networking related consulting and delivery experience
• 15 years of hands-on experience with network design and implementation
• 3 years of hands-on experience designing and implementing public cloud network technologies
• 3 years of architecting and designing connectivity between on-premises datacenters and public cloud providers; proficient in multiple on-ramp options
• 8 years of experience architecting, designing and delivering MPLS and Segment-Routing networks
• Ability to architect advanced networking solutions at multiple levels of the enterprise, data center and public cloud providers across multiple network OEM product lines (Cisco, Aruba, Arista, Juniper, etc.) and public cloud infrastructures (AWS/Azure/GCP)
• Deep understanding of data center and cloud networking technologies and solutions such as BGP, VXLAN, EVPN, Cisco ACI, Cisco NDFC, Aruba AFC, Arista CloudVision, Data-Center Interconnectivity, AWS TGW, Azure VWAN, AWS Direct Connect, Azure ExpressRoute
• Deep understanding of service provider technologies and solutions such as MPLS, MP-BGP, Segment Routing over MPLS (SR-MPLS), Segment Routing over IPv6 (SRv6), IS-IS, IPv6
• Experience with networking and cloud automation solutions such as Ansible, Terraform, Python, Model-Driven Telemetry, Network Services Orchestrator (NSO)
• Ability to lead a team of senior technologists
• Excellent oral presentation skills and ability to present in front of small to large audiences
• Ability to effectively multi-task and prioritize various program deliverables, committed in meeting target deadlines
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong background consulting with Federal and DoD customers
• Expert certifications are highly desired: CCIE, CCDE, DevNet Expert, JNICE, ACDX, etc.
• Public Cloud certifications are highly desired: AWS Solutions Architect, AWS Advanced Networking
• Vendor and product certifications are desired: Cisco, Aruba, Arista, AWS, Microsoft Azure, GCP
• Secret security clearance is highly desired

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

• Up to 25% of travel required for this position
