Job Summary: Following established procedures competently performs Safety and Security duties to insure maximum protection of patients, visitors, employees, and hospital property. Answers customer’s questions and requests for assistance, timely, accurately, and in a courteous manner. Performs the core skills required to safety handle, carry, and operate issued firearm. And proper application of subject control tactics.
Skills Required: Knowledge, skill, and ability to: perform repetitive duties, perform in a crisis situation, and alertness in making decisions in an emergency. Well developed interpersonal skills.
Minimum Education Required: High school graduate
Minimum Experience Required: Previous safety/security experience preferred.
Licensure/Certification Required: Valid PA Drivers License, BLS, PA ACT 235 or PA ACT 120 (with PA ACT 235 Waiver)
