Job Summary:Following established procedures, performs and/or assists in C.T. examinations as ordered by the physician. Is able to assess and provide appropriate treatment for all patients from neonate through adult.
Minimum Education Required: Must have successfully completed an approved school of radiologic technology.
Minimum Experience Required: 2 years as a general Radiologic Technologist
Licensure/Certification Required:Must be registered with the ARRT as an RT(R) and registered in or working toward certification as an RT(CT). CT certification must be
attained within the first year of employment.
Must be BLS certified required (or obtain within one month of hire).
Skills required (if applicable): Demonstrates interpersonal skills necessary to interact courteously and effectively with patients, families, visitors and hospital personnel. Ability to deal with stressful work load. Demonstrates competency in IV starts for contrast administration.
