Position Description:
Position s Contributions to Work Group:
Resolving all packaging related safety issues
Resolving all Packaging related quality issues
Creating cost savings/Avoidance projects
Working on returnable packaging solutions to help with sustainability.
Focusing on all NPI packaging activities
Typical task breakdown:
Provide NPI support (returnable containers CPPD)
Develop packaging solutions to protect finished painted components
Design for transport efficiency
Perform containerization analysis and quoting
Validate new packaging and containers during pilot phase
Coordinate with assembly planning for line-side storage and ergonomic considerations
Develop kitting packaging / presentation
Validate returnable quantities through simulations
Resolve safety and / or quality issues caused by current packaging
Resolve issues reported by 3PL or carriers
Interaction with team:
Working with both NA packaging team as well as both India and China teams
Working with supply chain logistics- procurement Manufacturing transportation and POU to ensure total alignment with any packaging solutions.
Bachelor s degree in Packaging, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or Equivalent and 1 years of Industrial Packaging experience required.
