IRIS Adult Family Home is located in central Vancouver, WA (very close to Peace Health SW Hospital).

IRIS & ORCHID Adult Family Home is seeking excellent caregivers willing to assist seniors in a beautiful high-tech, designer Adult Family Home. IRIS Caregivers receive on-the-job training, specific to our client needs, but experience is a plus! Our goal is to provide excellent care with kindness and purpose.

General Duties

• Commitment to providing quality care with kindness and empathy
• Conversation/Companionship with Clients
• Maintain clean, safe, orderly environment for clients.
• Prepare and serve daily meals
• Assist with laundry, grooming, and bathing
• Assist with toileting and incontinence issues
• Medication Administration/Reminders
• Detailed Processes and Recordkeeping
• Facilitate scheduled activities
• Communicate with Provider (issues, questions, ideas, etc)
• Follow company policies and emergency protocols

Requirements

• Highly Dependable, Punctual, and Professional is a must
• Highly Empathetic, Patient, and Takes Initiative.
• Treat individuals with honor and dignity and show respect for their property
• Able to speak, read, and write English clearly (2nd languages a plus)
• At least 21 years of age
• High School Diploma or a GED
• Willing to undergo a criminal background check and DMV check prior to starting work
• Willing and able to obtain required certifications (HCA, Food Handlers, CPR, etc.)
• Current and Valid driver’s license and auto insurance preferred but not required.
