We are looking for a reliable Janitor who can work Part- Time Day shift (14- 16 hours / week) hours to clean the Multi-Residential Buildings located in Downtown Chicago, IL.

Scope of Work :

• The Helper C position is responsible for maintaining the exterior and interior physical condition of the property to the highest possible standard of cleanliness
• Comply according to company operating, safety standards, and customer standards and ensure that cleaning service requests and repairs are made on time
• The Helper C reports directly to the Maintenance Engineer
• Helper C level union training is required for the role
• Understand and properly use cleaning equipment, chemicals, and tools
• Perform emergency maintenance repairs to units, buildings, and common areas as required
• Maintain all grounds, including sidewalks, public walkways, and stairways, building exteriors, garden areas in a neat, clean, and attractive condition
• Assisting in efforts to make vacant apartments rent-ready in a timely manner
• Compact and remove trash and debris from community areas
• Ability to strip and wax hardwood floors
• Operate a snow blower and shovel during the winter months
• Check that supplies are adequate in washrooms
• Use our mobile application daily to check in, upload pictures, and check out
• Performs other related duties and assignments as required

Must-Haves to Be Considered :

• 2-3 years of janitorial experience, preferably in an apartment setting
• Basic knowledge of building systems
• Available to work according to the schedule mentioned.
• Ability to frequently handle and use chemicals and general cleaning supplies
• Ability to lift at least 60 Pounds.
• Good verbal communication skills.
• Mobile phone with internet access to use the iRestify App.
• Ability to work independently without direct supervision.
• Willing to undergo a criminal background check.
• Be reliable, professional, and on time with strong attention to detail.
