iRent Everything is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Event Sales Coordinator to sell, manage and coordinate events from planning to completion. You must be creative and committed to providing outstanding customer service and organizing unique, memorable, and high-quality occasions.
We work with small and large events that can range from intimate dinners to nationwide conferences, so you need to be comfortable with a variety of venues and decorating styles. We prefer candidates with at least two years of industry experience and a substantial portfolio of successful events.
Event Sales Coordinator Duties and Responsibilities
· Meet with clients virtually, in-person, or over the phone to establish the size, budget, and expectations of the event
· Organize details and gain client approval
· Will be responsible for sales averaging $15,000 a week with stretch goals as this person becomes proficient in their role
· Negotiate contracts with the venue and other vendors
· Oversee completion of all event details, including decor, catering, entertaining, and transportation
· Organize, manage and follow up with existing and potential leads
· Other tasks and responsibilities as needed to improve sales experience
