We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated educator to join our team as a Middle School EC Teacher specializing in Inclusion and Resource Setting. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in special education, a passion for creating inclusive learning environments, and the ability to provide targeted support to students with diverse learning needs.

Responsibilities:

1. Classroom Management:

   • Design and implement inclusive teaching strategies that cater to the diverse learning styles and abilities of all students in the classroom.
   • Foster a positive and supportive learning environment that promotes inclusivity and encourages collaboration among students.

2. Individualized Education Plans (IEPs):

   • Collaborate with special education team members, parents, and general education teachers to develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
   • Ensure that IEP goals are integrated into daily instruction, and progress is regularly monitored and documented.

3. Resource Setting:

   • Provide targeted and specialized instruction to students in small-group or one-on-one settings, adapting teaching methods to accommodate individual learning needs.
   • Develop and implement effective resource materials and tools to support students in achieving academic and social-emotional goals.

4. Collaboration and Communication:

   • Work closely with general education teachers to facilitate the inclusion of students with special needs into mainstream classrooms.
   • Communicate regularly with parents, providing updates on student progress, discussing strategies for home support, and addressing any concerns.

5. Professional Development:

   • Stay informed about best practices in special education and inclusion, attending relevant workshops and conferences to enhance professional knowledge and skills.
   • Collaborate with colleagues to share expertise and contribute to the continuous improvement of the school's special education program.
