Iredell Memorial Hospital Incorporated is Hiring a Pharmacy Technician Near Statesville, NC

Description

 Pharmacy technicians assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications, maintaining the drug inventory, and maintaining patient records. Pharmacy Technicians work only under the supervision of a registered pharmacist. They do not perform duties that can only be performed legally by a registered pharmacist. 

Requirements

 *High School Diploma or equivalent. 

 *Pharmacy Technician certification required (certification must be current and updated before the expiration date). 

 *Current Registration with NC Board of Pharmacy or registered within 30 days of hire. 

 *Hospital experience preferred, but not required. 

 *Must possess full range of body motion to pass basic FIT test for position to include stooping, bending, sitting and standing for extended periods of time. 

 Reports To: 

 Director of Pharmacy Services and Pharmacy Operations Manager; supervised by Staff Pharmacists 

SCHEDULE: 2ND SHIFT, 7 on-7 off
