Description

Under the supervision of the Director of Respiratory Care, has responsibility for the technical management of the department to include personnel administration, employee education and orientation, quality assurance and inventory control. Provides input in budget development and control, and patient care management. Performs clinical activities as necessary. Has full access to patient health information. May have access to medications storage areas (excluding controlled substances) as related to job responsibilities.

Requirements

• Licensed by the North Carolina Board of Respiratory Care as a Respiratory Care Practitioner.
• Three years experience; previous supervisory experience preferred.
• Must be able to stand and walk most of the working day. Must possess full range of body motion to pass basic FIT test for position to include walking, kneeling, standing, pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, reaching and sitting for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
