Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and knowledgeable Parts Advisor to join our team. As a Parts Advisor, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating the procurement and distribution of automotive parts. Your expertise in automotive service and mechanical knowledge will be essential in providing excellent customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our parts department. Duties: - Assist customers in identifying and selecting the correct parts for their vehicles - Manage inventory levels and ensure accurate stock counts - Coordinate with suppliers to procure parts in a timely manner - Utilize warehouse management systems to track and organize parts inventory - Collaborate with the service department to fulfill repair orders - Maintain accurate records of parts transactions and customer interactions - Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly - Operate a forklift to move and organize parts within the warehouse Skills: - Strong automotive service background with mechanical knowledge - Proficient in warehouse management, procurement management, and demand planning - Experience in supplier management, including negotiating pricing and terms - Familiarity with automotive repair processes and terminology - Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues - Proficiency in using an order management system to process orders accurately This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Parts Advisor to contribute to our team's success.
