IQVIA is Hiring an Inventory control associate Near Ithaca, NY

We are seeking an Inventory Control Associate 2 to join Q2 Solutions, IQVIA’s laboratory business at Ithaca, NY .

As an Inventory Control Associate 2, you will support all phases of inventory management, ensuring the efficient flow of materials and maintaining accurate stock records in line with Good Clinical Practice guidelines.

What you’ll be doing :

  • Overseeing the receipt, storage, and distribution of laboratory materials from the loading bay to storage and use areas.
  • Maintaining a tidy inventory with proper stock rotation and up-to-date records using our Inventory Control System.
  • Analyzing inventory reports to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Collaborating with project managers and setup managers to manage stock levels and address material shortages.
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders regarding stock-related issues, including price variances and supplier concerns.
  • Conducting regular inventory reporting and participating in stock cycle counts.
  • Reviewing and monitoring stock levels to prevent inventory shortages and ordering stock as needed.
  • Preparing and coordinating inter-lab shipments, ensuring adequate stock levels and documentation.

What We Are Looking For :

  • 1-2 years of related experience in inventory control or a similar field.
  • Proficiency in PC skills, including Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities and excellent organizational skills.
  • A valid fork truck certification and the ability to maintain effective working relationships.
  • Other Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be accepted in lieu of degree

  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and external partners.
  • Problem-solving skills to address and resolve inventory discrepancies and challenges.

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $37,700.00 - $62,800.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience;
