IT support engineer is directly responsible for supporting in-house solutions to enhance information storage, retrieval, and processing. Position is key to shaping software technology direction and assisting in applications integrations.

• Work with users to improve and unify processes
• Planning and Developing basic change requests

Experience in the field of IT is essential and experience in a similar role is a plus. Ideally, we would prefer local people for this role due to travelling though all applicants are considered.

• Primary

o Support users across the IQE group with the in-house solutions

o Perform basic bug fixes

o Train users on custom software

• Secondary

o Undertake testing of development before user acceptance testing

Assist in other reasonable IT tasks as assigned by line manager

Qualifications / Essential Skills

• Experience in a support role / development role for more than 2 years
• Experience in Semiconductor / Manufacturing is desirable.
• Working knowledge of the following skills
• Knowledge / Experience of supporting ERP applications ideally Microsoft Dynamics NAV.
• Basic coding skills ideally VB.NET / C# / SQL
• Possess strong Information Technology troubleshooting skills
• Have good problem-solving skills and able to handle multiple tasks at once.
• Be pro-active and possess excellent people, team, and communications skills (verbal and written) and time management skills.
• Have good verbal and written communication skills
