WEB MANAGER - Hybrid Southern California

For our North American headquarters, located in La Mirada, California, we have an immediate opening for a Web Manager. This position is hybrid and is expected to be on-site 3 days per week.

Summary

The Web Manager is a subject matter expert in website best practices, website maintenance, preventing website downtime, SEO and UX/UI, using the latest standards and enhancing and modifying them as necessary to ensure the best experience for the end-user. The Web Manager stays abreast of standards and industry changes in software and hardware upgrades and regularly informs the IT department, so that IQAir stays up to date on all platforms.

Responsibilities

• Planning, implementing, managing, monitoring, and upgrading IQAir's website
• Responding to and troubleshooting all website issues.
• Identifying and responding to all website security breaches.
• Ensuring that the website is protected by enabling the appropriate security measures.
• Updating HTML, CSS and JavaScript regularly.
• Conducting content audits to eliminate redundant and/or duplicate information.
• SEO best practices knowledge and implementation
• Creating appropriate website content aligned with the organization’s strategy.
• Ensuring website quality and efficiency by conducting regular test plans.
• Improving the user experience of the website regularly.
• Collaborating with all staff and management to ensure that the website aligns with brand strategy and meets the organization’s standards.
• Creating strategies to grow subscriber base and web traffic metrics.
• Ensuring full compliance on the website with all laws and regulations.
• Keeping up to date with industry best practices and monitoring competitor websites.
• Must be hybrid Southern California

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate in English both verbally and in written form
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field; or 6 years of equivalent experience as a Website Manager
• 4 years of direct experience with multiple and international websites
• Great understanding of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Paid Per Click (PPC).
• Expert knowledge of Macromedia suite, Adobe suite, Content Management Systems, and W3C Web standards.
• Highly proficient in HTML, XHTML, CSS design, cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility, firewalls (functionality and maintenance), Access, mySQL and JavaScript.
• Ability to troubleshoot website issues in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with 508 compliance standards, internationalization skills, and mastery of variations on web platforms are necessary
• Able to pass a pre-employment background and drug screen

Other Requirements

May be required to attend and participate in professional development activities both in and outside the company to stay abreast of new developments and best practices.

What IQAir offers

At IQAir, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. The base pay range for this position is between $120,000 - $125,000 annually and most new hires start at $120,000 per year. Your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications and experience.
