IPRO is Hiring a Project Manager Near Success, NY

As part of IPRO’s Program Management team, the Project Manager supports projects as a member of a Program Management Office team working collaboratively with Sr. Project Managers and Project Specialist under the general direction of the PMO director. In this role, responsibilities include the utilization of solid project management skills and a knowledge of project management methodologies, ensuring that timelines are established, and deliverables are met, collecting data to analyze performance, and reporting on progress on moderately complex projects. If the project is not being implemented to satisfaction, the project manager must be able to identify issues in a timely manner and work with leadership to correct or elevate as appropriate. The Project Manager participates and contributes as an active member of interdepartmental and cross-functional Project Teams, as assigned, in the execution of plans to meet short, medium, and long-term strategic project objectives.

  • Collaborates with several departments and oversees cross-functional teams to collect, evaluate, and record all the information necessary to create through project plan.
  • Enables the efficient planning and monitoring of several projects.
  • Allocate assignments to team members and explain expectations about project milestones and deliverable to them.
  • Coordinate the distribution of project resources to gurantee the project team has what's needed and when it's needed.
  • Oversees operational project budgeting, which includes forecasting and monthly accounting for payments, billing, and budget monitoring.
  • Handle project documentation and artifacts, including agenda, decisions/actions, design control documents, design history files, plans, presentations to governing committees, project charters, status reports, timeliness, and success metrics for assigned projects.
  • Foster cross-team collaboration to help the team members complete project tasks and produce deliverables working directly with internal stakeholders, customers and C-suite/ executive sponsors.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong time management skills with the ability to work on multiple projects.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills.
  • Experience with evaluating, selecting, and managing external service providers/vendors.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, SharePoint, and Teams.
  • Proficient in utilizing project management methodologies and tools including ROI.
  • Ability to meet deadlines in a time sensitive environment.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field, required.
  • A minimum of three (3) years’ experience in leading projects and using project management methodologies.
  • Certifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP), Lean or Six Sigma and Certified Scrum Master (CSM) preferred. 

The salary range and/or hourly rate listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation that may be offered to a successful applicant for this position at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future. The annualized salary range for this position is $95,000.00 – $115,000.00. Actual salary range and/or hourly rate depends on a variety of factors including experience, education, credentials, location, and budget.

The salary range and/or hourly rate listed does not include other forms of compensation or benefits.
