Position Summary
The VP Director is a high-level client team specialist, requiring a strong leader with proven experience managing teams, juggling multiple high-level projects at one time, researching, and justifying partner selection, and developing and negotiating multi-faceted media and marketing partnerships. The VP Director must think strategically and work collaboratively with other disciplines across the agency to create recommendations that deliver on client strategic goals and business objectives. The VP Director is a team leader who manages their client leads and works with the investment leaders to train and provide reviews for their direct reports.
Responsibilities
  • Oversight and leadership of client relationships.
  • Aligning with client goals and acting as a strategic partner to exceed them. Establish and build strong working relationships with senior level client contacts.
  • Strengthening and broadening client relationships resulting in a deeper footprint with the organization.
  • Partners with the finance and project management team to ensure delivery and drive profitability.
  • Drives the process for an integrated business, aligning and ensuring all integrated disciplines are working together in support of the business.
  • Manage a team that will execute the full national buying process for each client including the development of branded content, detailed audience tracking, strategic negotiations, and tactical scheduling through final post-buy anaysis.
  • Plays an active role in conflict resolution. Identifies, manages, and resolves problems before they escalate.
  • Supports and delivers on MAGNA agency-wide media partnerships targets in a way that benefits client in a cost effective way.
  • Responsible for team development and growth.
  • Work in tandem with the analytics team to understand how to determine best KPI for client objectives and metrics to evaluate for best KPI return. Can successfully pull in past or projected campaign metrics to support media recommendation
  • The VP is a strong relationship builder and problem solver who provides strategic oversight to holistic media plans, innovative ideas, and marketplace solutions tailored to client's needs.
  • Bring innovation and thought leadership to drive modern marketing solutions for our client.
  • Help develop insights into brand extensions through evaluations and recommendations of cross-platform concepts, high degree of partnership across various teams.

Required Skills & Experience
  • Excellent leadership skills with ability to lead team to deliver high-quality results.
  • Passionate about innovation and the creative process, desire to find creative ways say "yes" to ideas and to contribute your own.
  • Passionate about advertising and the ability to spread that passion to others.
  • Management and supervisory experience required.
  • Well versed in all aspects of media, particularly National TV, Video, Streaming, and Advanced TV.
  • Superior client service experience with proven ability to provide strategic media plans.
  • Ability to anticipate and quickly assess continually changing client needs and adapt resources and strategies accordingly.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, organizational, interpersonal, and analytical skills
  • Ability to translate data into viable business solutions to enhance strategies and meet deliverables.

Desired Skills & Experience
  • 7 years of agency experience preferred with extensive experience managing a client and 5 direct reports.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration/marketing preferred.

The salary range for this position is posted below. Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on, among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the subject position, market considerations, budgetary considerations, tenure and standing with the Company (applicable to current employees), as well as the employee's/applicant's skill set, level of experience, and qualifications.
