iParametrics is currently seeking licensed architects for a potential Department of Energy project. The qualified individuals will provide expertise and guidance in architectural design, and the resolution of architectural technical, code, regulatory, and safety issues. This may include:

• Plan and coordinate independent work requiring judgment, initiative, and experience in the application and adaptation of architectural techniques.
• Coordinate technical issues with other disciplines, customer organizations, or projects.
• Manage special tasks and provide leadership, training, and consultation to co-workers.
• Conduct construction document reviews.
• Assist in the preparation of task estimates; perform studies and prepare analysis as required.
• Interface with other design/construction disciplines, customers.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from an accredited university.
• Registered Architect with current state registration. National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB) preferred.
• 10 years of professional architectural design and/or field experience. Nuclear experience preferred.
• Familiarity with CAD applications is required.
• Must have a working knowledge of Federal (including Department of Energy Orders), State, and Local codes and standards applicable to architectural design.

Special Considerations:

• Must be willing and able to obtain and maintain a federal security clearance through an extensive government background check with fingerprints.
• The position is located in Greenville, SC. We will consider a remote work situation for individuals not local to the area; this may require travel twice per month to Greenville.
