Initially, the primary responsibilities will pertain to the preparation and prosecution of complex patents while interacting with an impressive team of engineers and scientists. You will have portfolio responsibility dependent upon on your experience and technical expertise. As you grow in this role, you will also have the opportunity deal with all other aspects of technology protection (e.g., due diligence, patent portfolio strategy, enforcement and licensing issues, etc.).

You will work closely with internal researchers and patent professionals relating to extremely important and highly innovative new patent families. Here, your portfolio assignments and responsibility will grow commensurate with your interests and abilities.

Technology:
* physics, electrical and mechanical engineering, optics, photonics, lasers and related devices and systems (i.e., instrumentation, electronic components, firmware, software, etc.).

Patent Agent Requirements:
* B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in engineering or physics
* USPTO license
* At least 4 years of solid patent preparation and prosecution experience.
