About us

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Ophthalmic Technician. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our clinic by performing various tasks across different shifts. Additionally, this individual will be responsible for upholding our patient care standards.

What You Will Be Doing

· Open/close work up and exam rooms and ensure they are stocked, properly sanitized, equipment is maintained and in-order for the physicians.

· Work-up patients that come into the clinic in a timely manner, following standard steps and procedures.

· Utilize EHR systems to chart, communicate with other staff and physicians, and provide updates to patient information.

· Follow HIPPA and safety/cleanliness regulations

· Perform all ordered imaging procedures while using time management skills to keep flow of the clinic efficient.

· Retrieve all ordered injections or fulfill any other requests from physicians.

· Monitor clinic flow and provide assistance where needed, including loading patients into exam rooms, escorting patients, and covering breaks in various roles.

· Camaraderie with patients that is appropriate and reflects our values

What We Are Looking For

· 1-2 years’ experience in a healthcare setting preferred.

· High school graduate preferred.

· Verbal and Written Communication.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12 – 15 per week
