Iowa Outdoor Products is currently looking for dependable and detail oriented Landscape Maintenance Technicians for our Maintenance department. Ideal candidate should have a passion for landscapes, a strong attention to detail and ability to not rush through projects, and the ability to work responsibly and efficiently with little supervision.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in landscape bed maintenance and restoration
• Work with Maintenance Mangers in weeding, pruning, watering, mulch installation, plantings, leaf cleanup, plantings and more
• Follow safety protocols while working with landscape tools and equipment
• Properly maintain truck, tools, and equipment by following company maintenance, safety and cleaning procedures
• Be adaptable and help different departments as needed
• Must be self-motivated and driven to complete projects in a timely fashion
• Take pride in workmanship and use critical thinking skills to problem solve when needed
• Maintain pleasant and professional disposition around teammates and customers

Expectations

• Available to work Monday through Friday, with occasional earlier or later start/end times during extreme weather
• Must have valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Punctual attendance and good communication with supervisors and coworkers
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work outdoors in varying degrees of weather
• Have general knowledge and experience operating common landscape construction equipment
• Plant knowledge is preferred, but not required

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
