Assist in the development, promotion, and supervision of all facets of the University’s Men’s Lacrosse program. Assist the head coach in overseeing the academic excellence of all student-athletes that are involved with the program. Assist with fundraising efforts, community service projects, program logistics, and recruiting quality student-athletes for the future of the program.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Assist the head coach in planning, preparing, and executing practice and competition plans, strategies, and alternatives which are designed to bring success to the program.
2. Will be in constant communication with student-athletes to provide guidance and assistance in their success both on and off the field of play.
3. Assist the head coach in recruiting quality student-athletes capable of pursuing the baccalaureate degree in accordance with the rules and regulations of the governing bodies and in such a manner that reflects the best interests of the program and the University.
4. Will be in consistent communication with strength coaches, athletic trainers, academic advisors, and other support staff to ensure athletes are prepared to perform at their best and to the standards set forth by the men’s lacrosse program.
5. Assist the head coach in all fundraising activities for the program. Helping with camps, clinics, and other lacrosse related events.
6. Assist the head coach in preparing NCAA compliance and eligibility documentation for submittal to the Associate AD/Compliance.
