Since 1975, Iona Senior Services has provided the community-based services, solutions, and relief that make aging well possible. Our mission is to support older adults and caregivers through the opportunities and challenges of aging. We work throughout the Greater Washington, DC area and beyond to educate, advocate, and provide community-based services to help people age well and live well. When it comes to aging and caregiving, everyone has different needs. That's why we offer a full range of services. Adult day health services for some, consultations and long-term care planning with experts ...for others. Community programs like meals, fitness classes, and arts. Recreational activities that promote a healthy lifestyle. Support groups and presentations to build community, and more. Our services can help you address: Navigating a health crisis Making a move Finding and arranging services or public benefits Planning for your future Dealing with grief, loss, or stress Handling a memory loss diagnosis Accessing nutritious meals Remaining social, fit, creative, and connected to your community, and more.
