iSP is a leading solar energy provider in Connecticut and the surrounding areas. We are a full EPC; iSP sells, designs and installs all of our solar energy projects. We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Manager to lead our Operations Division at iSP. This is an immediate hiring.
Position Overview:
The Project Manager assumes a crucial role within the leadership team, serving as the lead of all iSP operations related to project management.
Qualifications and Duties:
● Proficient and knowledgeable in all facets of managing Residential Solar Energy Projects, and some knowledge of Commercial Solar Energy Projects
● Solar PV project management experience, proven project reporting of financial, work and schedule progress
● Experience with solar energy project closeouts, with several finance partners
● Organizational and process orientation skills to clearly maintain project documentation, correspondence, and related files
● Ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple projects and tasks
● Must have knowledge of the installation processes and works closely with the installation supervisor to ensure all projects are installed in an efficient manner
● Have ability to interface with iSP’s sales division to ensure a smooth project management process
● Knowledge of OSHA and other federal, state, and local safety practices to allow audits of site activities
● Proficiency with solar energy specific project planning and management software, PowerPoint, Excel, and other similar software
● Ability to review schedules and budgets for accuracy and completeness
● Contract negotiation and establishing Design Build Contracts, within Company Protocol
● Ability to work independently as required
● Internal communication and team approach are a must
● As an important member of the operations team, you will support projects and clients at all stages of development, planning, installation as well as ongoing operations and maintenance efforts
● The Project Manager will report directly to the Chief Operations Officer, and Chief Executive Officer
● Complete all assigned projects on time and on budget
Specific Qualifications:
● Bachelor's degree in related field preferred
● Minimum of 4 years of Solar PV project management experience
● NABCEP Certification Preferred
● Some knowledge of commercial solar projects preferred
● Manage assigned employees
● Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and
motivate others to achieve excellence.
● Prepare and participate in the review of contract documents for projects including the creation of requirements documents, lists of deliverables and other project management related items
● Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
● Proficient in project management software and CRM systems.
● Passion for renewable energy and sustainability.
Compensation:
● The salary range for this position is $100,000 to $135,000, commensurate with experience, reflecting the candidate's expertise and previous job achievements.
