Position: Manager on Duty (MOD)

Job Description:

The primary responsibility of this position is to provide excellent customer service to all our Ion International Training Center customers. This position will also be responsible for ensuring that the facility is well organized and maintained.

Requirements:
·Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
·Must be able to communicate clearly with customers and operate a computer
·Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
·Be proficient in using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
·Be proficient in using a point-of-sale system (cash register)
·Be proficient in opening and closing the facility
·Must have a clean driving record and be able to pass a background check

Responsibilities:
-Manage all employees in the facility when on duty

-Always provide customer service and hospitality to Brand standards.

-Drive the ice resurfacer/Zamboni.

- Complete all building or other facility maintenance duties including and not exempt from: facility maintenance repairs, ice rink maintenance, facility cleanliness.

- Provide security and other assistance during events, large or small- Help prepare for large events in the main arena.

- Manage daily cash close-outs and ensure Concierge team follows cash handling protocols.

-Operate a point of sale system (cash register) accurately and properly; process refunds, change, make returns, process credit card payments, etc. in a timely manner; communicate with other staff members when appropriate; perform other duties as assigned by management

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
