Ion Field Services is Hiring an Electrical Apprentice Near Colby, KS
Apprentice Electrician having the necessary qualifications, training, experience, and technical knowledge to install, maintain, repair electrical wiring, equipment, fixtures and other purposes and who is licensed by the board. Job location near St Francis, Kansas!
Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on electrical devices
- Diagnose electrical problems and malfunctions and take corrective action
- Use precision, maintain and repair instrumentation
- Perform all other installation duties as needed
- Works under the direct guidance of journeyman and master electricians responsible for the project
- Conduct work in accordance with relevant codes, and customer specifications
- Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner so that you collaborate with customers, clients, co-workers, and management
- Must have the ability to lift 70 pounds from floor to waist, carry 50 pounds, and push and/or pull up to 100 pounds
- Must have the ability to climb ladders and/or stairs
- Stooping, crouching, kneeling and bending
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Clean driving record
- Effective communication skills
- Positive and professional attitude
- Willing to travel
