Position Summary: Follow standing operating procedures (SOPs) to keep buildings in clean and orderly condition.

Work Schedule Available:

• 2nd Shift, Monday - Thursday, 3:45pm - 2:15am (Friday overtime can be required)

Essential Functions and Responsibilities to ensure the quality and safety of the product will include, but not be limited to:

• Maintain the cleanliness of the floors using tools such as mops, vacuums, and operating the floor scrubber.
• Clean windows, glass surfaces, and other surfaces using cleaners, sponges or squeegees.
• Clean amenities, equipment and other items in common areas.
• Service, clean and supply restroom.
• Gather and empty trash and recyclables.
• Notify managers concerning the need for major repairs or additions.
• Requisition supplies or equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties.
• Maintains necessary records.
• Reports to work regularly and on time.
• Perform duties safely and to report unsafe conditions or actions.
• Assists in other duties as needed and directed.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Skilled in monitoring for quality.
• Demonstrate customer service, active listening, attention to detail, and problem sensitivity.
• Ability to read written instruction and communicate with others while maintaining confidentiality.

• Must occasionally lift 25 lbs.
• Regularly required to stand, walk, bend, crouch, stoop, use hands and arms, and smell. May need to climb or balance.
• Specific sensing abilities required by this job include near vision and manual dexterity.

Work Environment: characteristic of an FDA regulated manufacturing facility. Personal Protective equipment may be worn in certain situations.

• The employee is regularly exposed to noise, and to airborne particles, including some allergens.
• Completion of duties must be done within an allotted time which may create a sense of time pressure to meet deadlines.
