Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Carpenter to join a dynamic team. As a Lead Carpenter, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and executing a variety of carpentry projects, ensuring their successful completion while maintaining the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship. Requirements:

• Valid NC Drivers License
• Pre-employment background check completed by third party
• Minimum 10 years experience (preferred)

• Carpentry (including wood framing, wood blocking, boxing, siding, and interior trim)
• Residential doors and windows
• Commercial doors and hardware
• Toilet partitions and toilet accessories
• Wood replacement, window replacement, and door replacement
• Wood decks, TREX decking, and TREX railings.
• Light gauge metal framing
• Punch list and warranty work

• Lead 1-2 helpers on a daily basis
• Navigate to job site locations and communicate with Owners/tenants in a professional manner upon arrival
• Read and interpret plans and specifications
• Prepare material take-offs for daily tasks. Pick up and deliver materials as needed
• Read and interpret installation instructions

• Minimum 40 hours a week guaranteed
• Opportunity for overtime work through after hour and shutdown work
• Two (2) weeks paid vacation after time accrued

• Medical insurance (50% paid by employee / 50% paid by employer) after 60 days of employment
• SIMPLE IRA plan after 6 month probationary period – 3% employee match
• Van/truck provided after 90 day probationary period and insurance company approval
• All tools provided
