Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), School-Based

Invo Healthcare is seeking a talented, part-time Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our school-based services team in El Paso, TX. Invo is the nation’s leading provider of behavior, mental health and therapy services in schools, centers and communities.

To qualify, applicants must:

• Hold a master’s degree in Counseling

• Have active state-level licensure as an LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor)

• Have experience providing services in schools or with children is a plus but not required

What to expect from this role?

• Provide individual, group, and family therapy

• Apply psychological principles, methodology, and techniques designed to modify behavior

• Perform crisis evaluation and behavioral intervention as needed

• Work in coordination with school personnel and parents to develop appropriate programs for eligible students

• Maintain appropriate records

• Collaborate in the development and implementation of an effective treatment plan based on the individual’s Individualized Education Plan (IEP)

• Ensure all services are performed in accordance with state laws and regulations

• Perform other LPC duties/responsibilities required by the Program and within the scope of licensure and/or certification
