Educational Diagnostician, School-Based
Invo Healthcare is seeking a talented, part-time Diagnostician to join our school-based services team in El Paso, TX. Invo is the nation’s leading provider of behavior, mental health and therapy services in schools, centers and communities.
To qualify, applicants must:
Masters degree in diagnostician related field
State-level credential as an educational diagnostician
Experience working in school programs or with pediatric populations is preferred
What to expect from this role?
Administer diagnostic educational evaluations to assess the academic functioning, educational needs, and Special Education eligibility of students and report on findings
Consult with parents/guardians on the interpretation of educational assessment findings
Serve as a member of the Child Study Team
Assist in the planning of individual goals and accommodations contained in the student’s Individualized Education Plan (IEP)
Maintain appropriate records
Ability to effectively communicate with teachers, administrators, and parents
Ensure all services are performed in accordance with state laws and regulations
Perform other Educational Diagnostician duties/responsibilities required by the Program and within the scope of licensure and/or certification
