Dr. Michelle Cohen brings years of experience in her respective field to specialize in neuro optometric rehabilitation. InVision helps adults and children with strabismus, binocular coordination disorders, accommodation and tracking issues, and traumatic brain injuries. Dr. Cohen also offers primary care optometry services for children and adults in addition to her developmental optometry services. One of the most exciting new products offered by InVision is the emerging field of myopia control. Current research shows that it is possible to slow or delay the onset of near sightedness.

Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Optical Assistant to join our team. At InVision LLC we specialize in Optometry/ Neuro Optometric Therapy. The ideal candidate will assist in providing exceptional customer service and support in performing preliminary tests on patients for the physcian. Keeping the flow of patients to see provider. Working outgoing referrals, and sending out reports to referring providers. Updating patient medical histories and docummenting in patient charts.

Duties:

- Conduct preliminary tests and measurements for optometrist

- Handle administrative tasks such as medical records, referrals, medical record documentation

- Help keep all equipment sterilized, and organized

Requirements:

-Medical Terminology

- Knowledge of anatomy, systems, and eye care terminology

- Experience with electronic health record systems

- Strong background customer service

- Understanding of medical coding and billing processes

- Ability to work effectively with pediatric patients, brain injured patients

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
