Optician for the optical dispensary (Invision Eyewear in Oak Park Mall In Overland Park Kansas)

We are an independent, high-end, Johnson County based luxury Optical Shop home to the finest eyewear collections in the world. We are looking to expand our team. Looking for a full and/or part time positions. We are seeking an experienced Optician if possible to fill a Full-time, Part-time negotiable, positions for our busy, private practice located in Johnson County. Join our professional staff and a practice that is proud to offer the very latest in frame and lens technology and has an extensive selection of designer frames. We are seeking individual with any OPTICAL EXPERIENCE to be a part of our team

Job description includes:

 Knowledge of optical industry trends with products and services,
 High comfort level selling and dispensing premium products,
 Frame selection and a good understanding of eyeglass lens materials, coatings and options,
 Ability to dispense contact lenses and train first time wearers. (Is a benefit but not required.),
 Great customer service skills including appointment scheduling, patient check in and data entry.
 Ability to do eyeglass adjustments & repairs, to inspect eyeglasses to ensure accuracy and quality,
 Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
 Computer and internet skills,

Salary is based on experience Health Benefits and Commission.
