Investors Title is looking for a proven Director of Software Engineering. This pivotal role will lead and oversee the execution of our product deliveries, steering a dedicated team of engineers and business analysts. The Director will play a key role in shaping innovative solutions, enhancing the competitive edge of our products, and streamlining both development and business processes influenced by product features.
Position Highlights:

• Oversee project lifecycles to guarantee timely milestone achievements.
• Strategically allocate resources across the System Development Life Cycle phases, ensuring effective and efficient deployment.
• Facilitate technical requirements development, ensuring comprehensive capture of business needs.
• Drive application ownership within business units, fostering continuous innovation and process enhancements.
• Develop and execute a forward-thinking software development strategy, informed by competitive analysis and technical research.
• Hire, mentor, and oversee the Software Development team.
• Lead multiple delivery teams, guiding career development and performance.

Position Qualifications:

• BS in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
• 12 years of experience in programming and project management within an agile development environment
• Demonstrated expertise in software development and deployment, utilizing best practices and procedures
• Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas in an accessible manner
• Proven track record in leveraging technology to address business challenges
• Flexibility in managing shifting demands and priorities, adept at resource allocation
• Skilled in problem-solving and root cause analysis, with a focus on process and procedure improvement
• Talent for building and leading high-performing, motivated teams
