Assistant Racquets Professional – Inverness Golf Club
Inverness Golf Club is actively seeking an AssistantRacquet Professional to join our great Racquet Sports team for the 2024 season! The Assistant Racquet Professional will assist the Director of Racquets Sports to help facilitate the growing tennis, pickleball, and platform tennis membership. We are looking for a motivated, positive, and engaging individual with racquets sports experience to be part of a fun and welcoming environment and help provide the membership with a wonderful on-and off the court experience.

Racquets Sports Program
Inverness Golf Club has a growing racquets sports program, including tennis, platform tennis and pickleball. Our facility has four (4) outdoor clay tennis courts, (4) outdoor platform tennis courts and four (4) outdoor pickleball courts. We have a robust racquets sports schedule and program, which includes but is not limited to leagues, events, junior camps, clinics, group, and private lessons.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in related field required
Accomplished racquets player with tennis, platform tennis and pickleball experience preferred
Experienced racquets teaching abilities of all levels and ages preferred
Fiscal management and budgeting knowledge
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
Experience developing enjoyable and engaging programming for all levels and ages (clinics, events, competitions)
Experience working with private club sector clientele preferred
Ability to stand during longer periods of time
Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will be a motivated, positive, and engaging racquets sports teacher on and off the court
The Assistant Racquets Sports Professional reports directly to the Director of Racquet Sports and assists with all aspects of the racquet’s operation and program
Conduct private and group lessons
Assist with organization, execution and attending (in-house) leagues, clinics, events, camps, etc.
Assist with developing racquets e-blasts and newsletter publications
Assist with programming, scheduling and event calendar
Assist with developing and managing all junior programming (summer camps, junior pickleball & paddle, etc.)
Assist the Director of Racquets to recruit and train all seasonal employees
Work with the racquets committee to ensure that member expectations are consistently being met.
