The hiring pay range for this position is $27.00 to $34.00 per hour based on skills, education, and experience relevant to this role.

Effective the first of the month following the date of hire, employees are eligible to participate in the following Inventprise employee benefit programs:

• Medical, Dental, Vision, FSA, or HSA: Currently Inventprise contributes 80% toward the Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage for the employee, and enrolled spouse and dependents. Medical plans are currently provided through Premera Blue Cross.
• 401(k) program: Inventprise contributes 3% of employee base pay each pay period to their 401(k) account. Employee contributions are at the discretion of the employee.

Summary:

The Research Associate will develop and perform ELISA-based immunoassays, execute data workup and analyses, and qualify assays based on ICH guidelines.

Essential Functions:

• Develop and perform ELISA-based immunoassays to apply in conjugated vaccine research and development and final drug product quality control.
• Perform assay qualifications based on ICH guidelines including method design, drafting, execution, data processing, analyzing, and data presenting.
• Intellectually contribute to research and development and stay current with scientific literature and state-of-the-art methodology.
• Effectively prioritize tasks to meet goals and drive projects to completion according to timelines.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team to perform all duties assigned.
• Communicate well with team members and collaborate to achieve team goals.
• Attention to detail and focus. Effective time management skills to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Review, modify and develop Standard Operating Procedures.
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of all tests performed.
• Ensure all products are tested in accordance with approved SOPs, specifications, and procedures.
• Perform equipment set-up, daily operation, and maintenance.
• Complete other duties as assigned by Supervisor/Manager
• Material ordering and inventory management

Education, Experience & Skills:

• Master’s degree in scientific discipline would be preferred. B.S. degree in Biochemistry/Chemistry with at least 2-3 years of hands-on experience on assays design and qualification after post-graduation would be substituted. 
• The Candidate will work with R&D department closely to develop and perform ELISA Immunoassays for multiple-valent vaccine formulations drug product potency tests.
• Immunoassay experience preferred.
• Cell-based assay experience preferred.

Working Conditions:

• Candidate will execute Full-Time onsite job; flexible work schedule would be preferred occasionally.
• This position is substantially performed in a laboratory work setting with some office environment setting. On occasions, it will require heavy lifting, access to the warehouse, laboratories, or manufacturing environments.
