Hire Resolve is currently partnering with a leading construction company in Chicago, IL to find a self-motivated and well-organized Assistant Project Manager to join our team.

This role entails supporting Project Managers in various tasks related to overseeing multiple commercial construction projects, including:

• Estimating,
• RFIs,
• Submittals,
• Change Orders,
• Closeout procedures,
• Managing Project Documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• Additional certification or training in project management is a plus.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a similar role within the commercial construction industry.
• Proven track record of assisting in managing multiple construction projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency in project management software such as Procore, Primavera, or Microsoft Project.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, subcontractors, and team members.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple tasks and meet project deadlines.
• Attention to detail and ability to review project documents for accuracy and completeness.
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve issues quickly and efficiently on construction sites.
• Knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and permitting processes in the Chicago area.
• Understanding of the Chicago construction market, including subcontractor availability, material sourcing, and industry trends.
• Familiarity with local construction regulations, zoning laws, and building permit processes in the Chicago metropolitan area.
