Job Title: Lab Technician
Company: INVE Aquaculture, Inc. (USA)
Job Purpose
Complete routine laboratory tests, record test results, analyze data, and perform maintenance functions under the direction of professional staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Follow all Safety and Quality Systems policies/procedures
- Properly prepare the lab for testing samples as defined in the Working Instructions (WIs) and Supporting Documents (SDs)
- Analyze samples and record data based upon related WIs and SDs
- Analyze trends in data
- Inform Senior Lab Lead of any problems
- Manage the lab according to defined Working Procedures (WP)
- Maintain the sanitation & organization of the Lab
- Perform lab equipment verification checks based upon quality standards
- Participate in calibration activities
- Assist in preparation of documents concerning laboratory analysis
- Perform any task assigned by the Artemia Lab Coordinator (location Thailand) or Senior Lab Lead (local)
Qualifications and experience
- Diploma or Bachelor (BSc) in one of the following fields: Bioscience, Food Science, Feed Processing, Pharmaceutical Technology, or similar
- Basic Knowledge of GMP and HACCP systems
- Familiar with General Laboratory Practices
