BACKGROUND

As an emerging technology ecosystem in the heartland, Tulsa is experiencing a surge of interest from talented individuals and companies drawn to our unique value proposition.

Primary Purpose and Function:

A Technical Architect at 3N holds a pivotal role, serving as an executor of technology transformation and solutions. Your primary responsibility is to deeply understand the technological landscape, strategies, and deliver on the requirements of assigned projects and tasks. Your responsibilities include prototyping, scripting, debugging, testing, and maintenance.

As a member of the technology group, you will collaborate with your peers on the technology team, internal stakeholders, including the executive staff, shared services teams, and external partners. Moreover, you'll actively participate in project meetings and contribute to executing the technology strategy. This role reports to the Director of Enterprise Architecture.

Essential functions and responsibilities:

  • Partner with Business and Solutions Architects to deliver on technology projects and change requests.
  • Execute and complete technical tickets, assigned project tasks, and partner with external technology firms to deliver projects and change requests.
  • Execute systems integrations leveraging APIs, SDKs, connectors, and web services.
  • Produce and maintain various business architecture elements, including systems and process diagrams.
  • Manage all aspects of cloud-based infrastructure, including virtual machines, storage solutions, and integrations.
  • Advises on options, risks, costs versus benefits, and impact on business processes and system priorities.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation for all technology-facilitated processes.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or 3 years’ work experience
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in technology, information technology, engineering, development, systems administration, or architecture roles.
  • Experience in business process modeling, flow charts, diagramming and associated tools.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to understand complex business models.
  • Strong technical writing, data visualization, and communication skills.
  • Ability to translate complex subjects into actionable items.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Salesforce certification or experience with Salesforce and the ability to obtain certification.
  • Experience with setting up cloud environments and familiarity with APIs. 

Skills & Abilities:

  • Familiarity with at least one scripting language such as Python or JavaScript.
  • Ability to develop deep knowledge of an assigned technology platform and operate at the level of a certified professional, such as Certified Entry Level Python Programmer, Certified Associate in Python Programming, Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator Associate, or Microsoft Certified Azure Developer Associate.
  • Ability to utilize project tracking and agile management tools to manage project documentation and status.
  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives and priorities in a nimble start-up environment.
  • Possess a strong willingness to learn, grow, and stay updated on industry trends and best practices.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 25lbs., for lifting supplies and materials, as needed.
  • Position continually requires the ability to talk and hear both in person and over the phone, visual acuity; ability to operate equipment, read, and use a keyboard.
  • Position frequently requires the ability to sit, walk, and stand for extended periods of time.

Hours & Location:

  • This is not a fully remote position as we work in a hybrid office environment. This position will be both remote and office-based in Tulsa.
  • Reliable internet access and dedicated workspace in home
  • Ability to travel to attend in-person meetings and work collaboratively with other team members.
  • There is flexibility to manage your own schedule, and your onsite hours.
  • Employees working remotely must possess good time-management and organizational skills, and be self-motivated, self-reliant, and disciplined.
  • You must live in or be able to relocate to Tulsa, OK or the surrounding area.
  • This is a full-time position with an expectation of working 40 hours per week during normal business hours.
