Security Systems Technician

Intruder Alert Systems, Inc. – a 40 year old locally owned and established alarm systems company is seeking experienced technicians for long-term positions.

We install and service: Security Systems, Fire Alarm Systems, CCTV Systems, Structured Wiring (Network), Audio-Video/Home Theater, and Access Control Systems. We are currently hiring for a technician with the following qualifications:

· Experience in security/fire/CCTV/access systems required

· Hard-wired system experience required

· Audio-Video / Home Theater experiencevery helpful

· IT knowledge (basic) very helpful (port forwarding, IP addressing…)

· Applicant must be able to obtain a State of Texas Alarm Installer license

· Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check as well as a pre-employment drug screening

· Must be able to work as part of a team

· Must be a self-starter

· Must have excellent customer service skills, verbal and written communication skills

· Must have a valid driver's license, and clean driving record.

· Company provided vehicle while working

· Usually work as a crew of two

· Not a “piecemeal” pay rate – hourly pay and a 40 hour week

· Typical business work hours with occasional overtime

Pay based on experience (starting $19 or more).
