As a key member, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our technology direction and making a lasting impact. The ideal candidate will bring over 10 years of expertise in Javascript, React, NodeJS, and Typescript development. 

Requirements

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust full-stack TypeScript applications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement features and enhancements
• Lead and mentor junior engineers, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
• Work closely with product owners to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications
• Ensure code quality, performance, and adherence to best practices
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and contribute to the evolution of our tech stack

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience
• Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience in software development
• Proven expertise in full-stack development with proficiency in modern technologies (React, Node)
• Strong understanding of software architecture and design principles
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP
• Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes
• Solid understanding of version control systems (Git, Gitlab, Github)
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
• Effective communication and collaboration skills

Additional Requirements:

• Must be a U.S. citizen or possess existing work authorization
• Ability to commute to our office in Troy, MI (Hybrid position)

Additional Skills (Preferred):

• Previous experience with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, and/or Redis
• Other program language experience such as Python, Java, C/C
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines
• Familiarity with security best practices
• Experience with systems monitoring tools (e.g., Nagios, Prometheus)
