A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A SPECIALTY INFUSION REGISTERED NURSE

As a Specialty Infusion Registered Nurse for Intramed Plus collaborative service, you are the face of our company. You make a difference in the lives of our patients by using your experience and personal touch. By following the physician's plan of treatment, your primary responsibility will be Deliver and monitor specialized infusions or injectable pharmacological treatments in the patient's home. Monitor patients for infusion related reactions, intervene as required, accurately document the transfusion, and submit transfusion reports in a timely manner. Maintain effective communication with the Physician, Nursing Manager or Director to ensure patient safety and satisfaction.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A SPECIALTY INFUSION REGISTERED NURSE

• Registered Nurse with a current license in the state of South Carolina
• 2 years of nursing experience
• Travel required throughout the state - no overnight travel
• CRNI or IgCN certified preferred, not required

Experience in infusion therapy skills, central venous access, pediatric care, RN case management, home health / hospice experience is preferred.
