Ensure solutions adhere to defined enterprise and portfolio future state architecture. o Act as an advocate for the business partner, ensuring the architecture designed addresses the business problems. o Provide architectural direction and technical guidance to project team areas as appropriate. o May lead other architects in the development of solutions across a program or line of business. * Portfolio Architecture, as requested o Provide Architecture input to the strategy and periodization of all enterprise initiatives. o Perform system planning for each process area. Identify redundant or complimentary technology initiatives across HCSC. Identify investments that support business need. o Manage architectural risks, issues, and decisions within and cross business and IT portfolio. * Participate in the establishment of standards and guidelines that guide the design of technology solutions. Required Job Qualifications: o Bachelor Degree o 12 years technical experience including: o Developing solution architectures for large enterprises while partnering with Enterprise Architects, Business Architectures and Application Architects; driving decisions to resolution even when requirements are ambiguous o Application design and development, particularly with high transaction volumes o Middleware and Integration technology design work o Message based and Java oriented technologies o Knowledge management o Developing standards, reference architectures, and guidelines for enterprise use o Knowledge in all areas of data, security, applications or integration architecture and associated technologies o Business and financial acumen o Architecture input in prioritization and road mapping of capability improvements for a line of business. o Ability to lead a team of architects to deliver solution architectures which drive capability improvements to a line of business. o Architecture trade-off analyses o Communications experience (presentations to ITG and business audiences) o Experience leading multifunctional teams or initiatives o Thought leader within, and external to, the division • Accountable for architecture on a large program and ensure alignment to portfolio architecture direction • Must understand and be able to navigate dynamics of large programs and be able to manage matrixed architecture resources and decisioning across the program • Experience with large transformational/modernization programs
