We are actively seeking a Registered Nurse with experience in pre-op & post-op care (PACU) to work in our accredited surgery facility and be part of our amazing team. Primary responsibilities include:

• Delivering and managing care of patients undergoing therapeutic and diagnostic interventions.
• Conduct pre and post procedure patient education and nursing assessments, evaluate and manage vital signs and hemodynamic status, maintain patient airway and invasive lines, and maintain patient tubes, catheters, and drains.
• Oversee the safety and comfort of patients
• Provide education to the patient and family members.
• Assist with ordering and maintaining inventory of medication and supplies.
• Collaborate with all members of the health care team.
• Other responsibilities as needed

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school. (BSN preferred)
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in an acute care setting (ED, PACU, ICU).
• Experience with patient prep and recovery preferred.
• Experience in an ASC or endoscopy suite preferred.
• Experience providing procedural sedation a plus.
• EPIC EMR experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills with team members, patients, and their family/care givers.

License/Certification:

• Current unencumbered Oregon State RN license.
• Current BLS/ACLS certification or successful completion of course within 60 days of employment.
• Specialty certification in Perioperative Nursing, Radiology Nursing, Vascular Nursing or an applicable field preferred.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $40.00 - $53.00 per hour
