Description

· Coordinate production team to produce and prioritize jobs, and when necessary, reorganize to meet deadline changes and updates.

· Communicate effectively with the Narrow Web Manager: informing and updating them regularly to guarantee that customer service, sales and customer’s objectives are met. 

· Frequently monitor quality and instruct employees how to maintain quality standards.

· Facilitate departmental cross training and development plan for each employee.

· Review operating data and investigate deviations from anticipated performance. Initiate and implement necessary corrective action.

· Follow and enforce policies and procedures. Initiate disciplinary measures according to company policy. 

· Work with maintenance manager to identify mechanical problems and maintain equipment. 

· Comply with all OSHA safety requirements.

· Duties are not inclusive. 

· Responsible for compliance with all regulatory, facility food safety, and quality policies and procedures including product safety (GMPs) policies and procedures.

Requirements

· Knowledge of printing industry and hands on printing experience is required[BC1] .

· Must have Associates degree or related experience

· Minimum of 2-5 years narrow web printing; production supervisory experience a plus. 

· Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, and verbal and written communication skills. 

· Complete understanding of Flexo Printing and operation of Label presses is required[BC2] .

· Comprehensive background, understanding, and experience with PC and Microsoft Word, Excel. 

· ISO experience is a plus.
