Job Title: AR Collections Specialist - HVAC

As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dedicated Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team.
Position Overview: We are looking for an experienced HVAC AR Collections Specialist with be responsible for collection of past due amounts. Knowledge of the HVAC industry is a plus! The required skills include accuracy, customer service, phone etiquette, time management, data entry, and attention to detail. This is a high volume, fast-paced environment that could require occasional overtime.
Key Responsibilities
Qualifications
- Makes outgoing calls to customers attempting to collect past due amounts
- Answers incoming phone calls and responds in a professional timely manner
- Follows company policy regarding the collection process
- Responsible for monitoring and maintaining aged delinquency
- Sending out monthly delinquency notices as per policy
- Researches and resolves account discrepancies
- Coordinate with Sales Team on customer payment items
- Understanding and following Lien Rights
- Leading the monthly AR meetings
- Updating customer account notes as needed
- Creating/mailing monthly customer statements
- Daily/Weekly scanning of AR related activities
- General administrative functions
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned
