What is the Role?

As a Bench Repair Specialist, You will test, evaluate, disassemble, and re-assemble parts of the Link kiosks in support of the repair and maintenance of the CityBridge project. They will replace defective parts and track assembly repairs to provide feedback on systemic issues for evaluation by engineering. They will update software as appropriate and ensure that equipment is ready for installation in the field.

Job Functions:

• Assemble necessary spare parts as per design specifications
• Test devices turned in from the field as defective to determine best repair options
• Troubleshoot components to minimize repair costs and replace as necessary
• Check and update operational software as necessary to ensure the latest versions are re-issued to the field
• Remove any operational parts from units deemed unrepairable to build spares
• Track parts consumption and log repairs
• Evaluate repairs completed by any outside vendors for quality and completeness

Education (Preferred):

• High School Diploma/GED
• Microsoft Office Suite
• Google Office Suite
  Internet & Network Based Applications

License and/or Certification:

• Must have a clean Driver’s License with no more than 3 moving violations or chargeable accidents in the past 3 years.

Physical Demands & Work Environment:

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and willing to work in any environment.

Estimated Hourly rate: $23/hr
